So it happened! It was suppose to be for three days, but only ended up being one day and then the guy said it was more work than he had thought and gave us a discount and didn’t finish all that he was suppose to do. I would have rather paid him more to get it all done, but they were gone and done early the second day not giving me a chance to be there. Done on purpose I’m sure of it. I’m not sure if we have more work now or less?? There is so much to do still. I don’t have pictures all the land, but it’s much better and worse. We go to clean up often. The worst is that there is a lot of little tiny pieces of trash (plastics, junk etc,) that is scattered throughout the land. It may take a while to get it all and even then I’m sure it will appear for many years after. There are two large piles of trees and branches now. One of the piles has junk and dirt scraped up around the edges. The other pile of wood is placed right where I wanted to garden so at some point I’ll have to find a way to move it. Some pillars and footings were placed in the wrong place too. Hopefully I can move those someday. I don’t want to be so negative because that is the wrong attitude. I am positive and love the progress we make each time we are there.

If you look at these images you can see some progress on the shed. I actually have all the wall siding off and hope to knock it down soon. Helen and I got to the daunting task of cleaning up all that glass from the ground. It was a lot and we did it. It was a rainy day that made it not so hot and I am impressed with the work we were able to do. So much cleaner. As of now we are cleaning up the concrete pad by the awful shed. Hopefully this weekend we can clean up the garden area. I’ve been planning the pipework.

The original owners did things that do not make any sense to me. No logic behind anything. I’ll be doing my best to now fix up the area the way I think would work best. I’m excited because once we are able to get the pipework in then we can get part of this large garden area ready for winter planting. That is the goal. I’ll keep posting as we make progress. I have videos and a lot of images, but I can only post so much. The land may look a bit more bare now, but as we start to add trees back and plants it will start to look amazing.

So that’s about it. A lot has happened. Next update I will try and include some more photos of the cleanup. We have two large piles of trash. One 40 yard roll-off already got taken. We have enough trash for 1 or 2 more. For now it will sit until we can gather all the miscellaneous trash into these two piles.
