This bangle bracelet is made of solid sterling silver. It's not hollow. It has a nice pattern of twisted wire and a thin clean line going along with it. It has a woven feel to it and the background is darkened to give it a nice old look. I handmade this silver bangle from scratch. I don’t do this very often. Actually it has been over twenty years since I’ve made one. lol So is this considered an antique? Maybe not, but I made this back in 1996 when I lived in Laos. Back then I melted the silver and poured it into an ingot. Then rolled it out into a smaller square wire form. After that the metal was pulled through draw plates at various sizes to create the right size silver wire. Then twisted together and soldered to a soild thick sterling silver wire which is the base. The bracelet is nice and solid and heavier than most. It will fit most wrists. The opening can be opened or closed tighter by just pressing or pulling the bracelet. This way it can be that perfect fit. Very durable, this silver bangle will last you a long time.
This will definitely make some heads turn. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
