This Celtic knot ring is made up of a Zoomorphic pattern of a hound. It has a hound or dog that is interwoven as it continues endlessly around the band. This ring also has a lightly oxidized background to help the pattern stand out. As a custom designer for jewelry, I love to create rings that have meaning behind them. Celtic hounds were respected by royalty a very long time ago. They can symbolize courage and strength among warriors and royalty. They were symbolized as hunters and guides. There are even legends with hounds apart of them. The pefect protection and guidance we need to be reminded of as we go through life and care for those around us. We too can be strong like the hound in guiding others to safety. To be brave when we need to be and to be kind and loving too. Or obidient when we are called upon to do so. All these strengths put into a ring and it’s symbolizm to help remind us that we can be all that.
As an Artist and Designer, I love to add meaning to wearable art. The craftmanship that goes into thinking about and designing a ring can be difficult, but also rewarding. Being able to wear something so small, but to also carry it with us all the time is a great reminder all the time of how we can act and be around others. Stay true to yourself and may this ring be that constant reminder.
I made this ring using CAD software. The file is grown and then cast in metal. I then finish it up with a high polish.
This listing is for one ring in Sterling Silver.
I will need to know your **finger size** when ordering. Different sizes have different widths. If you want to know your exact width then just ask. An example is a size 10 is 6mm wide and about 2.6mm thick. Smaller finger sizes will be slightly less wide and larger finger sizes might be a little wider.
If you have any questions just ask. Thanks for looking.
