These buds or flowers are a traditional bud flower that is often used in Laotian artwork. I was taught this pattern while living there and learned how to chase silver bowls with these traditional nature patterns. It’s a beautiful pattern and this design is for a very wide fashionable ring that will not be overlooked. This Laotian series of rings was inspired from me living there and learning of the Lao culture. The Lao people were so kind to me. Always offering me food and to join them in their houses. We would eat and chat in a mix of English and Lao. Such wonderful experiences I had there. This is why I wanted to create a series of rings dedicated to the Lao culture. Handmade silver and gold rings that reflect their culture and designs that have meaning. I like to build rings that are artistic and can be worn for everyday use. This wide Lao ring has a beautiful natural pattern feel to it. It’s a wide ring that reflects the imagery of buds representing new life. If you like wide rings with naturalistic flower or bud designs, then this is it. Although wide it is very comfortable to wear.
