This silver medallion I designed for a special purpose. You see Paradise California is not just any place. It’s where I grew up and have a lifetime of memories with family and friends. Sadly on Nov. 8th 2018 a huge tragedy happened. Camp Fire happened. It’s not something many want to remember, although I do know it has brought me closer to friends and family. I hope we can all remember the good and rise out of the challenging time such as this has caused. This is why the wings carrying the Paradise sign. It’s a symbol that we can move forward with hope and good memories overcoming difficult situations. We can be lifted up to new heights, because with each challenge we grow and become stronger. I hope you can be proud to have known such a wonderful place and people. Paradise is rising and is strong because we are strong.

I love how this medallion came out. It has a dark satin finish to it so it is not high polished. The background is blackened which brings out the details. It needs a nice heavy chain or cord for the necklace. It does not come with one. If you’d like a leather cord necklace you can find them on my site listed below in either 2mm or 4mm thicknesses. The almost last two images show what the pendant looks like with a 2mm and 4mm natural leather cord. The last two images are with the 4mm cord.

** If purchasing the thin version the bale is smaller and will not fit a 4mm cord. You would need the 2mm cord.

Dimensions:

Original:
The pendant is about 2mm thick on the edges and thickens to around 4mm thick. The diameter is about 35mm. The bail is about 16mm long x 4mm wide. The inside hole is about 11mm x 6.5mm.

Thin version:
This one is about 1.2mm thick on the edges and and 2.5mm thick at the thickest part in the middle. I just added photos to compare the thin version with the original version. Hopefully you can tell the difference in thickness. The overall size is the same. I also had to move the 925 stamp and my logo to the back.

Finish:
The finish is a dark satin finish with the outer edge and back a little more bright than the other areas. I sometimes make the front border a little brighter too and sometimes I leave it dark (see photos). Just let me know if you prefer one over the other or else I’ll probably do the one I feel like doing in the moment. :)
