This corn bag is used as a hot pack or used as a cold pack. These are my and my kids favorite things to do at night right before bed. We all take turns at the microwave heating up our corn bags. They stay heated for up to an hour if in the covers or the conditions are right. It holds 2.5.lbs of corn and measures overall 10” x 6” You can purchase this with or without a cover (cover sold separately). The corn bag itself is made from canvas and is strong so it can withstand a lot of use and abuse. The covers are made from mainly different cottons, some linen, and very few are synthetic fabrics. The orange, yellow and white floral cover from the image is a strong cover and should also last a long time (example of a synthetic fabric). The Danish flag cover takes a little more work to make, but is a very nice and soft cover. You can easily take off the cover and wash it. I have spent the time to build a quality product and the corn has been pre heated to kill any sort of bugs that may have come in the corn grain so you won’t have any problems with these pests. I take extra care to build a strong durable product that will last for years to come. Overall it’s a great product to have for many situations such as it can be used just to warm up, for back pain or other injuries that require heat. This product can be put into a plastic freezer bag and frozen to act as a cold pack for a short time too. I know you'll have a great heating pad that will serve you well.

Treatment and care:

Put in microwave no longer than 3 minutes on high to use as a hot pack (very hot)

2 minutes in microwave on high heat is usually sufficient.

Do not wash corn bag

Take off cover and wash the cover when dirty (not the canvas hot pack)

Put in Freezer bag and in freezer till frozen to use as a cold pack
