This 14k gold pendant I designed for a special purpose.  You see Paradise California is not just any place.   It’s where I grew up and have a lifetime of memories with family and friends.  Sadly on Nov. 8th 2018 a huge tragedy happened.  Camp Fire happened.  It’s not something many want to remember, although I do know it has brought me closer to friends and family.  I hope we can all remember the good and rise out of the challenging time such as this has caused.  This is why the wings carrying the Paradise sign.  It’s a symbol that we can move forward with hope and good memories overcoming difficult situations. We can be lifted up to new heights, because with each challenge we grow and become stronger. I hope you can be proud to have known such a wonderful place and people.   Paradise is rising and is strong because we are strong.  

**The photos are of my sterling silver version. I do not have a gold photo yet, but have colored the silver version to represent a similar product in gold. What will the finish look like? It all depends. The blackening process isn’t exactly the same and the black may not blacken as much as the silver one. It may be a little more grey like or not as strong. It’s hard to say. You may have to just trust that I’ll do my best to get it to a nice satin finish. Just now thinking about it I may even leave most of it satin finish with a high polished border and maybe the Paradise text. That would give it a nice contrast. If you would like it a certain way, let me know and I can try it out.

It needs a nice heavy chain or cord for the necklace. It does not come with one. If you’d like a leather cord necklace you can find them on my site listed below in either 2mm or 4mm thicknesses with sterling silver findings. The last two images show what the pendant looks like with a 2mm and 4mm natural leather cord. ** The thin version can only use a 2mm cord. The 4mm cord will not work with the thin version of this pendant.

I do not have gold findings for the leather cord yet. If you would like one then email me and I can give you a cost on maybe hand making some for you.

Dimensions Original:
The pendant is about 2mm thick on the edges and thickens to around 4mm thick. The diameter is about 35mm. The bail is about 16mm long x 4mm wide. The inside hole is about 11mm x 6.5mm.

Dimensions Thin:
The pendant is about 1.2mm thick on the edges and thickens to around 2.5mm thick in the middle. The diameter of the disc is about 35mm.

Weight Original:
around 28.5 grams.

Weight Thin:
around 18 grams.
